Order Manager

The Order Manager is where you will process and fulfill your online orders.  This chapter will also demonstrate how to fulfill orders with digital goods, subscriptions, or gift certificates.

AbleCommerce provides a number of features for post order processing.  Merchants can process credit card payments, capture pending authorizations, or issue refunds.  The interface also allows you to simply enter a credit card or some other form of offline payment.  

Often times, an order changes after it's been placed.  Whether it's the customer requesting a faster shipping service or the merchant removing an item from the order, AbleCommerce gives you the flexibility to change an order.  When this is done, a new order balance is calculated.  If there is a balance due, then you can send your customer a note that asks them to return to the store and make an additional payment on the order.  If you need to apply a refund, then most payment processor are capable of partial refunds.  Everything is done from the AbleCommerce order manager!     

For high volume stores, AbleCommerce includes batch processing and printing of orders.
