Coupons

Coupons are used to incent your customers to purchase.  In AbleCommerce, you can create three types of coupons.  An order coupon, which will deduct a percent or fixed amount from the entire order.  A product coupon, which can discount specific line items or provide incentives like Buy One, Get One Free.  And shipping coupons which can be used to give your customers free or reduced shipping costs.

Coupons require that the customer enters a code during the checkout process to obtain a discount.  AbleCommerce will determine if the coupon code is valid for the order.  If not, a friendly message will be displayed to your customer letting them know why it isn't valid.  

As the merchant, you have many configuration options like setting date limits, how many times a customer can use the code, minimum purchase amounts, and much more.

After a coupon is used, you will be able to view a report showing each coupon, how many times it was used, and each order it was used for.  This allows you to better track your marketing efforts.
