Administrator Groups

In a default installation, there are seven groups used for administering the entire system.  Only one of those groups as full access to every area - this is the Super User group.  Any user who is assigned to this group will have full access to all pages within the Merchant Menu.

Other store management groups are included for your convenience.  These are shown in the example, and the permissions of each group are described below.

Super User - A user in the Super Users Group can view all pages.

This user goes by the "System" role.

Admin - A user in the Admin Group can view all pages except: 

-  Administration > Reports > System > Audit Log

- Administration > Configure > Security > Encryption Key

Junior Admin - A user in the Junior Admin Group can view all pages except:

Customization of Administrator Roles

Access the application's program files.  Within the folders of the \Admin\ menu, you may see a web.config file which will have the pre-set roles/permissions for each area of the Merchant Menu.

Here is an example of the contents which can be modified to include or exclude additional group admin roles (permissions):
