Product Templates

Using a Product Template is an easy way to accommodate a unique product.  The Product Template feature can work in three ways. If you would like to collect information from the customer, or have them make some specific product selections on purchase, you can create customer input fields in a product template.  Likewise, you can also create input fields for the admin user.  This allows you to include additional product attributes that are shown with the product description.  You can also use the product templates to create Shop By attributes which allow your customers to easily find exactly what they are looking for by filtering their search criteria to only those products that match their shopping requirements.

Like the name indicates, these are templates that can be associated to any number of products.  When the association is made, the product will display all the input fields for the template.  There can be any number created for each template.
