Payment Patch for AbleCommerce Gold R10


Applies to: AbleCommerce Gold R10 or Gold R10 SR1 only

Summary:  This patch will fix specific issues if you are using TaxCloud, storing payments with Authorize.net CIM, using the Recurring Orders feature, or the partial payments feature.

 

 

INFORMATION

This patch only applies to AbleCommerce Gold R10 or Gold R10 SR1 stores.  Before applying the patch, make sure you are using the latest version of AbleCommerce Gold R10 SR1 first.  See the PREREQUISITES section below.

 

ISSUES FIXED

  • [AC8-2854]  Tax rounding issue when capturing payments while using TaxCloud

  • [AC8-2950]  Stored payment profiles may not qualify for auto-generated recurring subscriptions

  • [AC8-2996]  Payment profile is ignored for recurring subscriptions if changed from the retail side

  • [AC8-2997]  Unable to use a stored payment profile to pay the balance due on an order (Anet CIM only)

  • [AC8-3014]  The pay my order page does not accept partial payments if feature is enabled

  • [AC8-3020]  A non-shippable recurring subscription includes other non-sub products in next auto-generated order

  • [AC8-3029]  Changing to a duplicate payment method for a recurring subscription throws exception (only happens during testing if there is more than one of a certain payment type created)

  • [AC8-3036] - Auto generated subscription payments not processed if sub is using a saved profile



PREREQUISITES

Before installing this patch, make sure you have already applied the following two updates:

  • Service Release for Gold R10 - after applying this update, you should be running SR1 build 8620

  • Authorize.net CIM Patch 2015 - this patch applies to the Authorize.net CIM payment gateway and any feature which involves storing a payment profile. (e.g. Recurring Orders, customer allowed to store payment for future)

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Make a backup of your AbleCommerce installation

  2. Download the applicable Gold Patch below for the version you are using.

  3. Extract the updated files to a temp folder.

  1. Stop the website using IIS application server.

  2. Copy the new files to each applicable folder, replacing the existing ones.

  3. Restart the website.

Determine if you are using the WAP or WSP version before beginning.

OPTIONAL:  Using the MD5 checksum number provided, you can verify the integrity of the download before extraction (see below for instructions).

TO VERIFY THE DOWNLOAD:

1.  Go to WinMD5.com or any other utility that can provide checksum validation.

2.  Download and Run the utility.

3.  Select the downloaded file.

4.  In the field provided, past the original MD5 value provided by AbleCommerce help site, and click Verify.

5.  If the validation fails, do NOT install the patch.  Instead, contact support@ablecommerce.com for help.
