Order Statuses

By default, the Basic Data option available during installation of AbleCommerce will give you the order statuses needed to operate your store.  However, if you have installed AbleCommerce without this option selected or you are upgrading from a prior version of AbleCommerce, you will likely need to create them so your store will properly function.

NOTE:  Make sure that the stock Email Templates are installed so you and your customers can receive notifications.

ADDING A NEW ORDER STATUS:

1. Login to AbleCommerce Merchant Admin.

2. Go to Configure > Order Statuses.

3. Click the ADD ORDER STATUS button.

4. Using the table below for reference, enter the Order Status Name.

5. Enter the Display Name.  This is what is shown to the customer.

6. Check whether this status includes information in a report, if applicable.

7. Check whether this status represents an order that is canceled, fraudulent, or otherwise invalid.

8. Select the Inventory Status.  This determines when an inventory item is removed from stock, or re-stocked.

9. Select the Trigger(s) for the Order Status using the table below as reference.

10. When finished, click the SAVE button.

11. Repeat for the remaining order statuses using the table below as reference.
