Use the full 9.0.5 download available by logging in to your Account and viewing the Licenses page. The full build will automatically make all the database changes between the first release of 9.0.0 and the most current version. However, you will need to review and complete the post-upgrade instructions for each of the builds released. Links are provided below:

Please READ this before beginning -

Do not upgrade until you understand the following:

A valid license key is required to upgrade. It must either be a live or dev key. Demo installs cannot be upgraded.
Read the instructions provided with the download. These contain important post-upgrade steps.

What you need to do before upgrading (do not skip this!)

Create a backup of your database.
Create a backup of all application files.
Confirm the server is running Asp.Net 4.8

1) Download AbleCommerce upgrade file

A new feature in version 9 allows you to see all available upgrades for an installation.

The download, with its corresponding readme file, will be shown if you are eligible for an upgrade. Follow the instructions below.

To obtain the download, login to the Merchant Menu for the AbleCommerce installation being upgraded.
Using the admin menu, go to Upgrades > Available Upgrades.
Find the upgrade for the next version. It will be labeled "AbleCommerce Upgrade to 9.0.5"
Download the .zip file to a temporary location, and extract the contents.

Confirm your current version is 9.0.4.6750. The version is shown in the upper-left corner of the Dashboard.

Confirm your license key is valid for the upgrade by checking the Configure > Security > Licensing page:

- The license type must be either LIVE or DEVELOPMENT, and
- Subscription End date must be on or after the date of release, September 27th, 2021.

2) Upgrade Instructions

Go to the Upgrades > Available Upgrades page in the admin.
Click the Instructions button from the Action column.
Open the file and read the entire document through.
Complete the instructions for upgrading, making sure to complete any post-upgrade steps.
