Batch Edit Products
With the Batch Edit feature, you can manage and update several
products at once by searching and selecting the product fields
you wish to edit.
Using the menu, go the Catalog
> Batch Edit > Products page to view a page similar
to the one shown below.
In the top section of the form, you will need to first
determine which product fields need to be part of the batch
edit.
NOTE:
There are nearly 70 fields available, so it's not possible
to select them all without running into display issues while
editing.
The left side of the page shows all the fields available
for editing. Browse and select individual ones from the list.
When you click on the field name, it will automatically move
it to the right side list of fields.
The Filter field
above the list allows you to search for a field by its name.
The button with double arrows allow you to move all
fields from one side to the other.
In the bottom section of the form, you can filter the
product results if needed.
Use fields to select a category, brand, or type in the
SKU or Name into the fields available.
If needed, expand the section named "Advanced Search
Options" to view additional product filters as shown.
When finished making selections, click the Show
Fields to Edit button, or Reset the form to start again.
Updating Product Results
After searching, the product results will be displayed
in list format, as shown in this example.
From this page, you can edit the values for the selected
product fields.
The Show selection
allows you to adjust the number of products to display, and
paging is available to reduce the list size shown on each
page.
If there are multiple pages, you can make updates and
click the Save and Next
button to move from page to page.
Otherwise, make updates and click the Save or Save and Close button when
finished.
Batch Edit Categories
With the Batch Edit feature, you can manage and update several
categories at once by searching and selecting the category fields
you wish to edit.
Using the menu, go the Catalog
> Batch Edit > Category page to view a page similar
to the one shown below.
In the top section of the form, you will need to first
determine which category fields need to be part of the batch
edit.
NOTE:
Reducing the number of fields to edit will improve the usability
of the batch edit page.
The left side of the page shows all the fields available
for editing. Browse and select individual ones from the list.
When you click on the field name, it will automatically move
it to the right side list of fields.
The Filter field
above the list allows you to search for a field by its name.

category results by name or its parent category.
When finished making selections, click the Show
Fields to Edit button, or Reset the form to start again.

After searching, the category results will be displayed
in list format, as shown in this example.
From this page, you can edit the values for the selected
category fields.
